Herbert Curtis Ketchum Obituary (son)

Herbert Curtis Ketchum, Sr., 93, formerly of Pueblo, Colo., died March 13, 2011, in Albuquerque, N.M. Survived by his children, Herbert C. (Barbara) Ketchum Jr. of Rio Rancho, N.M., Arthur G. (Corene) Ketchum of San Antonio, Texas and Mary D. (John) Petinko of Milford, Pa.; nine grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Edna June Ketchum who passed away Dec. 18, 2007. Herbert was born to Clarence E. and Clara Ketchum on Jan. 12, 1918, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He and Edna were married May 29, 1939, in Pueblo, Colo. In 1984, Herbert retired from Safeway as a receiving clerk and was proud he never missed a day of work during his 40 years of service. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Mountain View Cemetery.
